In an interview with
Ayatullah Sayyid Mohammad, Bagir al-Hakim
He has referred to his close relationship with the
late Martyr al-Sadr where attended his classesof Al-Kifayah
lessons, and explained the traits of his teachings in six cases:
(First) he used to deliver lectures with the book closed, then
took a look at expressionslater on. (Secondly) he had a
unique way in teaching lessons.(Third) the way of teaching
was the same as the writer himself did, in spite of his
unbelieving in most of lessons. (Fourth) couraging students
and helping them posing their questions which leading to
create power of thinking in students' winds.
He helped students for conceiving, and not scilencing
them was the fifth trait of Martyr al-Sadr's teaching. Marty
was al-Sadr presented a collection of cultural activities in
various rules, philosophy, Kalam(thealogy, sociology) and
the history philosophy.
In this interview, Sayyid Mohammed Baqir al-Hakim has
shown the role of Marty al-Sadr in the lslamic revolution of
lraq. He also has added that the Martyr was the drafsman of
thought activities and plans of Islamic organizations in Iraq.
(First) he could have presented the appropriate marji'iyyah
(supreme religious authority). (Second) he was acquainted
with the role and impact of political organizations in the
arena of Islam and its relation with marji'iyyah leadership.
(Third) he took a collection of due measures in connection
with the dimensions of Islamic movement in Iraq by
supporting Imam Khumayni(RA) and the Islamic
Revolution of Iran.
Through sending an envoy to the late Imam
Khumayni(RA), announcing his readiness to serve the
revolution and its leader. In the wake of martyrdom of the
educator. Ayatullah Murtada Mutahhari, he made a
memorial service for honouring him. Martyr al-Sadr has
asked for students to dissolve in Imam Khumayni's thoughts.
In this regard, he made an extensive and public
movement which led him to be arrested and achieved
martyrdom.
With paying no attention to religious tendencies, Martyr
al-Sadr used to motivate people in Iraq when he addressed
both the Shia and Sunni. Due to his view, it is possible to
form a government leads to make forum for proximity of
Islamic denominations.
He did much attempts to establish solidarity between
Hawza (Islamic seminary) and university. In this regard, he
used to hold weekly meeting at his home to answer
questions raised by the enlightened and edeucated.
Ayatulla al-Sayyid la-Hakim has mentioned also through
the interview the traits of Martyr al-Sadr in the field of
innovation and said:
1. Integration between two elements of conventional
understanding and practical accuracy in legal proof.
2. Capability of deduction from Islamic - analytic theory.
3. Paying attention to the social sense of reason and
narrative.
4. comprehensiveness and generality.
5. Use of philosophical accuracy in principles of
jurisprudence.
